Goldwater Scholarship

The Goldwater Scholarship recognizes outstanding undergraduate students who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board, with a maximum of $7,500 annually. Sophomores or juniors with a GPA of 3.7 or higher and an interest in pursuing a career in scientific research are encouraged to apply for one of four VCU nominations each fall.
